To what extent can personality traits predict a persons leadership Essay
Whatever degree can character characteristics foresee a people authority capacities - Essay Example In any case, it is imperative to clarify why Hitler was an awful pioneer. He unquestionably was answerable for the passings of a great many individuals. That in itself is terrible. Be that as it may, we know over all that Hitler was an awful pioneer since he left his nation in ruins. He, more than anybody elseââ¬including the alliesââ¬was the explanation that Germany was an isolated, decimated nation in 1945. His flighty, haughty, and sullen character could have anticipated that horrible outcome (Robertson 1963). In the first place, history is imperative to placing Hitler's character into point of view. World War One was a catastrophe for Germany. Many state that the war started because of German hostility finished with a German destruction. The victors of the war, Britain and France, were not in a state of mind to pardon after the horrible decimation of past four years. They needed most extreme reparations from the German individuals for their misfortunes during the war. That is the reason they decided to force the Treaty of Versailles. The arrangement was ruinous for the German economy. Into this wreckage came Hitler, promising a restoration. He guaranteed another Germany that would last a thousands years and would be a managing light to the world. What kind of man right? Hitler was a bombed painter. He originated from a foundation that was not generally excellent. He carried on whimsically and experienced difficulty making great associations with individuals. He had self important thoughts regarding himself, yet for an amazing duration until that point had been a disappointment in all that he did. These were not the character characteristics one searches for in a pioneer. As a rule, individuals look for pioneers from great foundation, who have certainty and qualifications. Hitler figured out how to engage individuals since he censured others for Germany's torment. He disclosed to Germans that they were not answerable for the disaster that had come upon t hem. He instructed them to look somewhere else. He said he would lead them out of the wild (Robertson 1963). This was all extremely engaging. He had the option to take over forcibly dependent on this contentions. As opposed to rebel against him, Germans acknowledged him as their pioneer. In any case, what his character and his characteristics provided for the German individuals was more demise and more demolition. On account of his flighty character and low qualities, he committed numerous errors in beginning and indictment the Second World War. His activities prompted another and this time absolute annihilation for the German country. He was the most exceedingly terrible sort of pioneer and a large number of his character characteristics would have anticipated this. Among the most genuine errors Hitler made dependent on his character was assaulting the Soviet Union in 1941. Truly one of his primary character characteristics was suspicion: this is definitely not a decent quality to have in a pioneer. He presumed everybody around him consistently, including the pioneers of different nations with which he made arrangements, for example, Stalin. Since the remilitarization of the Rhineland in 1936, Hitler had been having some fantastic luck, winning a great many victories. He had effectively assumed control over Czechoslovakia and Austria, and he had done what appeared to be outlandish: the attack of Poland and France. His western front could be compromised uniquely by Britain, which was in no situation to do as such. His significant concern was with the Eastern front. That was not an issue since he had made harmony with Stalin in what was known as the Ribbentrop-Molotov reduced. This had partitioned Poland. The reality of the situation was that Stalin couldn't have cared less what Hitler did to Europe. Stalin couldn't have cared less if Hitler took the entire mainland such a long time as there was harmony between the two

Giving Some Quotation from the Book or the Famous Person Utterance An extraordinary reference toward the starting establishes the pace of the organization and causes the peruser to think about the issue. However, be cautious with cites. It is better not to pick extremely famous or abused expressions. They won't stimulate the individual intrigue or even reason the aggravation. Additionally, the articulation must be relating to the fundamental thought of the article. On Earth, there is no paradise yet there are bits of it Jules Renard ââ¬Å"There are no travelers on Spaceship Earth. We are all crew.â⬠Marshall McLuhan 3. Posing the Provocative Inquiry Questions are acceptable on the grounds that the individuals got utilized reacting to them unwittingly and it includes them in perusing. Inclusive Classrooms Essay Example for Free
Comprehensive Classrooms Essay The Success of Inclusive Classrooms Presentation Comprehensive homeroom is the reason for banters between families with kids who have learning handicaps and those that don't have youngsters with learning incapacities (Brehm, 2003). Incorporation can be comprehended as Brehm states it, Providing to all understudies, incorporating those with noteworthy inabilities, fair chances to get viable training; administrations, with the required strengthening helps and bolster administrations, in age-suitable study halls in their local schools, so as to get ready understudies for gainful lives as full citizenry. (2003, p. 89) With the joint effort of the school and home, comprehensive study halls can be effective. Understudies who have learning inabilities and the individuals who don't have learning handicaps will have the chance to create in an individual manner, social connections, and helps understudies with learning incapacities become ââ¬Å"productiveâ⬠¦ as full individuals from societyâ⬠(Brehm, 2003, p. 89). Comprehensive homerooms are predictable with the law that all understudies ought to be instructed at all prohibitive condition (Banerji Dailey, 1995). Results Some are restricted incorporation since they trust it will be exorbitant for the school. One school needed to test comprehensive homerooms in their own school and to see the impacts. They solidified their financial plan so the general population can't ascribe their prosperity to an expansion in costs (Van Dyke, Stallings, Colley, 1995). Their per-understudy consumptions for understudies with learningâ disabilities were somewhat lower than neighboring schools. Since all understudies were remembered for the general instruction the spending plan was transformed (not expanded) to help that. For instance, the school didn't need to give separate transportation to understudies with unique needs nor did the region need to pay private educational cost for the understudies they couldn't oblige. The school had ââ¬Å"educational suppliesâ⬠instead of independent supplies for the ordinary training classes and the custom curriculum classes (Van Dyke, et al. 1995). Another analysis is that t he preparation required for educators, the workshops for school staff, and the coordinated effort that is expected to make incorporation effective will take a great deal of additional time (Van Dyke, et al. 1995). That is valid. In any case, the preparation and instruction instructors get is important and improves their educating to common understudies and unique understudies. The advantages that are picked up by all understudies merits the time (Benerji Dailey, 1995). In conclusion, after a couple of trainings instructors figure out how to run a comprehensive study hall so less time is required for workshops. In the event that we actualize the correct training for incorporation in school, instructors will start educating with more prominent abilities and information on the most proficient method to run a comprehensive study hall. Another worry is that understudies with learning inabilities don't really improve scholastically in a comprehensive setting contrasted with the custom cur riculum classes. Through research it has been discovered that following one year of comprehensive study halls in three unique regions, 54% of the understudies with learning incapacities realized what they were relied upon to (Zigmund, Jenkins, Fuchs, Fafard, 1995). That number was just allowed following one year of incorporation study hall. The examples of overcoming adversity will continue developing if consideration is finished with the correct concentration and strategy. Homerooms are a prologue to the network that we live in. Youngsters with incapacities should be in ordinary homerooms to assist them with getting ready for the difficulties that will emerge in the ââ¬Å"real world,â⬠(Van Dyke, et al. 1995). Isolating understudies puts a mark on them that they are unique and are consequently treated in an unexpected way. However, they are separated our locale so they ought to be a piece of our schools (Van Dyke, et al. 1995). As, Van Dyke, Stallings, and Colley state, â⬠Å"To be genuinely arranged to participate in reality as grown-ups, youngsters with handicaps should be instructed in language rich study halls and to cooperate day by day with peers who are suitable job modelsâ⬠(p. 475, 1995). There are colossal social increases for understudies in inclusiveâ environments. Included understudies have higher companion evaluations and are progressively acknowledged contrasted with understudies in the asset program (Brehm, 2003). As indicated by the examination that was finished by Benjeri and Dailey (2003), understudies with learning incapacities improved in their confidence and inspiration. Understudies likewise changed in their social conduct, which helped them make companions and be a piece of a gathering of companions (Benjeri Dailey, 2003). What's more, understudies figured out how to think about each other, to learn and cooperate. One educator revealed that while all the understudies were at free play, the instructors were remaining near and watching them. One educator flippantly said that the instructors were not required any longer in light of the fact that the understudies have figured out how to connect and issue understand with each other without the intercession of an instructor (Benjeri Dailey, 1995). The understudies without inabilities additionally gain from comprehensive homerooms. Initially, understudies figured out how to acknowledge a wide range of individuals regardless of what they resemble and esteem the distinctions of their cohorts. They discovered that everybody has something important to share. Understudies were less scared of their cohorts that looked or carried on in an unexpected way. The understudies learning affected the guardians as well. In an ethnographic yearlong examination it was discovered that understudies turned out to be increasingly lenient with others because of their attention to their companions with handicaps (Staub Peck, 1994). Also, the investigation has demonstrated that understudies created positive sentiment of themselves after they helped or invested energy with a friend who was handicapped. Their confidence was expanded because of their cooperations with their friends. They felt that their ââ¬Å"helping roleâ⬠with an impaired friend raised their status in the homeroom and gave them a more grounded feeling of having a place. The connections between understudies with every single diverse sort of capacities were solid, significant, and enduring kinships (Staub Peck, 1994). We can encourage fruitful incorporation in our study halls with the correct mediation, approaches, and supports. Above al l, there must be coordinated effort between the school analyst or social laborer, the custom curriculum educator, the general training instructor, the head, and the home. Everybody must be educated and in understanding. When there is solidarity between all the gatherings associated with a childââ¬â¢s training, the youngster has a suspicion that all is well and good and can be instructed in the most ideal manner (Van Dyke, et al., 1995). Emotionally supportive networks must be set up for the instructors to go to for guidance and to help with guidance in theâ classroom. The instructors should meet with a specialized curriculum educator and educator advisor to examine systems for their study hall. Each study hall ought to have general training instructor and a custom curriculum educator who will be in the study hall for a piece of the day and a co-educator. Trainings and workshops ought to be given to teach educators about viable consideration and guidance (Van Dyke, et al., 1995). One best in class new style of instructing is known as the Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This style of showing addresses the issues everything being equal. UDL urges instructors to make an adaptable educational plan that is tweaked for every understudy. It permits understudies to advance from where they are and not where one envisions them to be. For a comprehensive study hall, UDL is particularly significant in light of the fact tha t there are various students and every youngster needs to learn at his own pace (www.udlcenter.org). The educational program ought to incorporate visual, sound-related, and sensation learning styles. Assistive innovation, for example, elective consoles, electronic pointing gadgets, Sip-and-puff frameworks, wands and sticks, joysticks, trackballs, contact screens, ought to be accessible for any understudy. Assistive innovation makes the homeroom a more amiable spot for an understudy who needs it. UDL offers various ways for understudies to communicate and what they have realized. Understudies figure out how to self-manage their feelings and inspirations. They donââ¬â¢t simply learn data rather, they learn aptitudes in how to learn and process data. They likewise grow their official working which causes them set objectives for themselves, screen their advancement, and control impulsions (www.udlcenter.org). Conversation In view of the exploration that was perused, consideration is a perfect method of showing our youngsters the world and social connections. The study hall is a model of a childââ¬â¢s network. Each youngster has a place with a network thus does each kid merit the opportunity to get the best instruction at all prohibitive condition (Van Dyke, et al., 1995). Comprehensive study halls encourage the aptitudes and life exercises to all the understudies of a wide range of capacities. Understudies create more beneficial senses of confidence, figure out how to interface with one another and issue understand together. Understudies become all the more tolerating of others contrasts and figure out how to pay special mind to every individual one of a kind attributes. Incorporation expels the names that make others extraordinary and not great enough.à It leaves the study hall alone a developing spot for all regardless of the handicaps (Van Dyke, et al., 1995). The way to Inclusion is correspond ence. The school and the home must be associated with parts of the childââ¬â¢s instruction . Educators should be prepared and instructed how to be compelling in a comprehensive study hall (Van Dyke, et al., 1995). Furthermore, UDL will enable the educational plan to be molded to enable every kid to prevail in their own particular manner (www.udlcener.org). The restrictions of this paper is that it doesn't state what sorts of inabilities ought to be remembered for the study hall and at what level of working an understudy must be to be incorporated. The paper doesn't talk about whether a draw out program might be required or not a

Personally, I believe that success is only the result of hard work and perseverance. I feel this way for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. To begin with, success is always the result of hard work over a long period of time. Success happens gradually, and only after a series of correct decisions and small victories. A stroke of luck, in contrast, is generally perceived to be a one-time event. The experience of my uncle, a successful entrepreneur, is a compelling example of what I mean. Since 2005, he has run a very profitable technology firm which manufactures and sells a wide range of products. His business started very small when he invested his savings to develop and market a single product and hire his first employee. When that product became popular, my uncle compounded his success by introducing new products and gradually increasing the size of his company. His company later grew from a single employee to include a staff of dozens. While my uncle might have been lucky at one stage of his companyâs growth, the long-term success of his firm cannot simply be the result of good fortune.Secondly, success is usually the result of careful planning, research and education, all of which require a lot of work to achieve. For instance, some people said that my uncle was lucky when his initial product offering was succ essful. However, he was confident that his product would be a hit even before he started manufacturing it. This is because he spent thousands of dollars on market research and focus groups. It was this investment of time and money, not luck, which assured the early success of his business. Likewise, when his small firm merged with another firm just before that company rose to prominence some called him lucky. However, my uncle had spent weeks interviewing the research and development team at that company and predicted their success based on what they told him. Had he not been confident of their potential, he would not have completed the merger. Again, this victory was the result of diligence rather than luck, despite what some observers say about it. In conclusion, I firmly believe that success comes as a result of hard work. This is because success takes a lot of time to achieve, and it also required very careful planning. (423 words)

It will help you to discuss moot () points of business with your competitors, direction, subordinates() and so on. So, which skills can help you to be an unbeaten negotiator? In my opinion, the most important thing is to be a good listener.Never interrupt your opponent. You should be patient and cool, especially when you are in the middle of a conflict. Remaining calm is a very useful quality in people who take part in the negotiation process. In particular, when you are personally attacked or when you are in stressful situations. You have to identify and analyse the most important issues carefully, but quickly. You should understand that at the end of the negotiation both sides can win. I think compromise is as good as victory. If you win in a negotiation, you will realize that others have needs. In my opinion, we take part in negotiations every day.For example, when we discuss with our parents the possibility of going out at night. As for me, I am not a very good negotiator. Discusses the subject of contraceptive use in Kenya. In this essay, the subject of contraceptives in Kenya is discussed. This includes why Western medicine will not work in a society that basis wealth on the size of the family, the lack of understanding on both parties involved, the failure of family planning programs and the lack of follow up procedures. Before seeing the western trend of smaller families as the ideal, the paper argues that one must look at the notion of children as a form of wealth in the African family. Children remain valuable assets, even when the family is faced with economic hardship. Furthermore, in advance of implementing western knowledge of contraception, both sides must be educated in each others levels of understanding. Finally, to be educated, these women must have adequate resources. If high fertility rates want to be lowered, than there needs to be access to knowledgeable programs. Denmark is a prison Essay Example For Students
Denmark is a prison Essay Denmark is a prison in here a mood of suspicion and secrecy pervades the entire drama, there is a distinct sense of lack of trust and sense of surveillance. Subsequently there would be analyzed some instances where characters are spying on each other, informing and being informed upon suspicious acts, to protect themselves and their honor. The first instance of spying in the play is when Hamlets ghost appears at the Elsinore castle. After the king said to his son the real caused and author of his death, Claudius, Hamlets point of view among his uncle and mother changes, he starts looking them as strangers and suspicious people. From this scene is where Hamlet immediately distrusts them and he keeps them under 24 hour surveillance. Another instance is when Polonius sends Reynald to spy on his son Laertes. Polonius wants to spy on his son because he simply does not trust his children and keeps always an over watchful eye on them. In Act I, Scene 3 when Laertes is preparing to leave, Polonius is very insistent in great detail about how he should behave in France. So he sends Reynald to know if Laertes is gaming, drinking or going to brothels, anything that could affect the family reputation. So in this example the level of surveillance get to the point of spying their own family. Finally his curiosity lead to his death, curiosity killed the cat. Subsequently the next spying situation is when Claudius and Polonius are spying on Hamlet. Their purpose of this is to proof if Hamlet was really crazy. At this part of the play Claudius has a supposition along with Gertrude that the cause of his madness was because of the death of his father and their marriage. Polonius and Claudius are really sure that hamlet was crazy, but what they dont now is that he is doing it on purpose which part of his plan. The reason why, especially Claudius is spying Hamlet, is because the next heir of the throne is his nephew. The king finally decides to send Hamlet to England. After there is an occasion of spying of Polonius on Hamlet through a letter that he gave to Ophelia. This is another way to proof if he really is mad, not convinced with his acts, Polonius wants to find a clue in the letter, because he thinks that the reason of his madness is because of his love with Ophelia. As you can notice, he wants desperately find the cause of this situation, but this interest of knowing the truth is not directly from Polonius, but orders from the king Claudius; who wants to make sure he is safe in his throne. For the second time, Polonius doesnt trust in his sons, and spies Laertes and Ophelia. He spies them to make sure he wont do anything bad that would confess to Ophelia. All this spying and surveillance among his sons is to protect the family honor, especially if they are close friends and servers of the kings. Then Claudius and Gertrude send two friends of Hamlet, to discover the cause of his strange behavior. This has no result because at this point Hamlet is so distrustful, that he even suspects among his old friends, and immediately he makes them confess who send them, and his suspicions were correct. At this point of the play there a complete surveillance between Hamlet and the kings, who include him mother. The most important and scheming instance of spying in the play, is Hamlet on the kings reaction in the play Mouse Trap. This moment was so eagerly awaited for Hamlet, when finally the prickles inside them, burst and goad their souls. Hamlet enjoys how the king, especially Claudius, suffers from inside and regrets of what he done. He looks the kings with a very ironic and mocking gaze. Its a penetrating look like if he had the devils eyes. At the end it is no longer spying, but he faces up the truth and declares his knowledge of the crime to the king and queen. .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c , .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .postImageUrl , .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c , .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:hover , .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:visited , .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:active { border:0!important; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:active , .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u2f083b43ab296d5df4baaf4c62623a2c:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: We have looked at many different types of courtship and we have seen the different parts that convention plays in each one EssayAlmost at the end of the climax, there is a very important spying situation, which is when Hamlet finds King Claudius praying and sorrowing of the murder of his brother. At this scene hamlet observes how the king is suffering, but his anger wants to kill him, and this would be the perfect situation, but he thinks about and gets to a conclusion of, if he kills him, Claudius would easily get to heaven but if Hamlet lets him alive, his feeling of fault would kill his soul and go to hell, suffering for the eternity. This would be the perfect revenge, so Hamlet decides to regret and leave him alive, while all this moment, the king had no idea that his nephew was at his back wanting to kill him. The next instance is when Polonius spies on Hamlet, when he is talking with his mother in her bedroom. When he hears Hamlet coming to the bedroom, he decides to stay and hide instead of leaving the room. Polonius wanted to know what was really happening with Hamlet and his supposed madness. So thats why he spies Hamlet expecting to know the truth of the situation. There is also a situation of spying, but not with the intention of self-interest, but with a purpose of health concerning. This is the spying instance of Claudius and Polonius spy on mad Ophelia. She was an innocent girl who never caused them troubles, and also was known of being mature and serious, so overnight seeing her in a complete state of madness, affects them a lot. This case is a bit ironic because the kings and Polonius first thought that the cause of the supposed madness of Hamlet was cause by Ophelia, but at the end occurs totally the opposite way. In conclusion, after analyzing all this instances, Denmark is definitely a prison, in which there is a complete surveillance and lack of trust among everyone. This gets to an extreme of suspecting among their own family. There is a big mood of suspicion which pervades during all the play, from the very beginning to the end. Spying creates more suspicion and causes more conflicts, which ends with a tragic consequence with many innocent people dead.

How to Make Copper Sulfate
How to Make Copper Sulfate Copper sulfate crystals are among the most beautiful crystals you can grow, but you might not have access to a chemistry lab or want to order the copper sulfate from a chemical supply company. Thats okay because you can make copper sulfate yourself using readily-available materials. Materials for Making Copper Sulfate There are a few different ways you can make copper sulfate yourself. This method relies on a little electrochemistry to get the job done. You will need: copper wire- which is high purity coppersulfuric acid- H2SO4- battery acidwater6-volt battery Make Copper Sulfate Fill a jar or beaker with 5 ml concentrated sulfuric acid and 30 ml of water. If your sulfuric acid solution is already diluted, add less water.Set two copper wires into the solution so that they are not touching each other.Connect the wires to a 6-volt battery. The solution will turn blue as copper sulfate is produced. When you run electricity through copper electrodes which are separated from each other in a dilute sulfuric acid bath the negative electrode will evolve bubbles of hydrogen gas while the positive electrode will be dissolved into the sulfuric acid and oxidized by the current. Some of the copper from the positive electrode will make its way to the anode where it will be reduced. This cuts into your copper sulfate yield, but you can minimize the loss by taking some care with your set-up. Coil the wire for the positive electrode and set it at the bottom of your beaker or jar. Slip a piece of plastic tubing (e.g., a small length of aquarium hose) over the wire where it extends up from the coil to keep it from reacting with the solution near the anode. (If you had to strip your wire, leave the insulating coating on the part that runs down into the liquid). Suspend the negative copper electrode (anode) over the cathode coil, leaving a good amount of space. When you connect the battery, you should get bubbles from the anode, but not the cathode. If you get bubbling at both electrodes, try increasing the distance between the electrodes. Most of the copper sulfate will be at the bottom of the container, separated from the anode. Collect Your Copper Sulfate You can boil the copper sulfate solution to recover your copper sulfate. Because the solution contains sulfuric acid, you wont be able to boil the liquid off completely (and you need to take care not to touch the liquid, which will become concentrated acid). The copper sulfate will precipitate out as a blue powder. Pour off the sulfuric acid and reuse it to make more copper sulfate! If you would prefer to have copper sulfate crystals, you can grow them directly from the blue solution that you prepared. Just allow the solution to evaporate. Again, use care in recovering your crystals because the solution is very acidic.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Graduate Study
Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Graduate Study Distance learning can be very convenient, but what about when it comes to graduate school? What are the online education advantages and disadvantages when it comes to getting a master or doctorate degree online? Is it better to attend graduate school traditionally? Does the online experience take away from your ability to gain valuable hands-on experience or networking experience? Online education is more common than ever. In fact, many educators and policymakers view online education as the wave of the future. There are also plenty of technology advancements, as well as hybrid in-personà and online programs, that allow students to learn in a hands-on way. Is an online graduate degree program right for you? Consider the pros and cons of an online graduate program before you choose one. Advantages Accessibility: Attend online classes from anywhere. This is great because many graduate school students hold down full-time jobs in addition to studying. Not having to rush to class on a busy workday or a relaxing weekend day can be a perk.Flexibility: Work on classwork when it makes sense for you, as you are not tied to a class scheduleà in most cases.Interpersonal Breadth: Your peers will include students all over the country and even the world. This is also a great advantage for networking purposes.Cost: An online education does not require that you relocate to a new place or that you stop working full time.à Documentation: Documents, transcripts, live discussions, and training materials are all archived and recorded so that they can be retrieved via mail, e-mail or the schools website for reading, downloading and printing at any time.à Access: Instructors are available, respond quickly through email and generally are prepared to work with diverse students with a range of lifestyles and needs. Disadvantagesà Employment:à If you attend an institution that is entirely online, you may find that you have to discuss the validity of your degree. Some people may not view a completely online program as being as authentic as a traditional or hybrid program. Information about the schools accreditation can convince employers of the programs validity.Communications: Most of your communication will be through email, which may not be the most effective method if you or the professor are better in person. You might miss the sound of an instructor or peers voice if there are no audio sessions.Courses: Not all courses of study are easily available online. If youre interested in a more unusual field, you may have difficulty finding a source for a complete online education.In-person responsibilities:à Hybrid programs in which you attend some classes in person, or do some projects in person, are valuable but the time needed to commute to school or participate in them can detract from work or family resp onsibilities.

Blackberry Marketing - Case Study Example As indicated in forth coming sections, over 41 million people use BlackBerry smartphones through 550 carriers and distribution partners in 175 countries around the world. This is encouraging enough to conduct the research on this organization as the results will not only offer enough insights, the experience would in all probability bring positive results for both the organization and the researcher. In order to explore the idea of gathering information, researching on previous efforts made by the organizations on similar exercise and its outcome, while we rely heavily on the website, our sources are not limited to the site alone but various reports published at regular interval in different journals. We begin with a brief paragraph introducing the different tasks being conducted to confirm the understanding of the researcher, methods adopted to make the research effective and higher objectives aimed for by the different exercises. This project has specific defined goals and milestones that are also listed in this paper. The first exercise would be an elaborate planning of the research for appropriate decision making, second exercise would be to create relevant questions to satisfy some of the objectives and information targets outlined in first exercise followed by the third exercise to collate necessary information based on the research conducted to arrive at decision and facilitate next steps 2. Task One: Research Planning for Decision Making 2.1 Introduction In this exercise, keeping the process and output in view, the research design is defined, regardless of traditional and conventional methods that were practiced earlier, as there are a few prevailing factors that inadvertently dominate the design of research we conduct. The attempt here is not just to identify the overall process appropriately but to expedite the execution and bring in better results. This paper deals with a few basic concepts definitions, along with challenges in the recent past, constraints and bottlenecks. The attempt therefore has been not just to address the research design aspect but the factors that need to be considered to ensure we have an effective design in place for Research and build information repository. While we leverage our previous learning from similar exercise, there is a clear effort to innovate to ensure optimistic results and eliminating hindrances in the different tasks we carry forward pertaining to Blackberry. The approach is primarily to evaluate a process realistically and introduce changes based on industry trends or other aspects that suit the process. In this exercise, we capture the trends in the past and also make relevant assumptions to arrive at a reasonable conclusion without much ambiguity. Organization Chosen: Blackberry 2.2 Organization

Arguing a position Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words
Arguing a position - Essay Example A 2005 study found that almost three-fourth of all college students gain weight between their first day and the end of their sophomore year. The primary reason for this weight gain is a combination of late night studying and poor nutrition due to students eating junk or fast food (Dryden). If the cafeteria were open later and offered food that met the nutrition needs of students, they might be more willing to eat healthier. This would benefit not only the students, but the college as well. After all, healthy students perform better academically, raising the overall GPA figures and making the institution more attractive to potential students and parents of those students (Kotler). On the other hand, of course, staying open later in order to offer fresh nutrition-packed food would require the purchase of a larger inventory. The food offered for lunch or even dinner could not be safely offered as fresh to late night patrons. Allowing the cafeteria to have more flexible hours would also be beneficial because during lunch time the place is far too crowded. By having a structured time for when classes take a lunch period break it creates a disadvantage by forcing all the students to congregate in one place at the same time. There simply aren't enough seat or tables to meet this need.

Impact of International Organizations
Impact of International Organizations The formation of international organizations in the 20th century brought about the requirement for governance, without governance you donââ¬â¢t have the organizations. A formal organization uses governance as its governing body; whereas an informal organization uses governance as a guide to the types of rules and regulations that are relevant to their activities. Regardless of the status of an organization, whether it is geo-political entity, socio-political entity or corporate, its governance will always be based on their actions and how the rules and regulations are fashioned, sustained and regulated. Any international organization can have an impact on world governance, there should be no defined positive or negative impacts as all organizations have differing agendas and policies and they are all out for achieve the best possible results, whereas one organization could see a positive impact on an organizations actions another organization may see this differently maybe as a negative impact, It is all down to perception. United Nations The United Nations role in world governance is very limited; they are only there in an advisory capacity. They have no authority to exert any powers on world governance, they are simply there to foster co-operation between national governments. Global terrorism became at its most prevalent in the 1960ââ¬â¢s, whilst the United Nations condemned the Hijacking of El-Al-Israel flight 426, they didnââ¬â¢t intervene in the events, and took no further actions against the terrorists. The reason why United Nations has a lack of support and is failing to assert its influence on national politics, is because their whole mission for international peace and security is totally undermined by the fact that their own Counter Terrorism Chief Jean Paul Laborde was quoted as saying ââ¬Å"Hamas is not a terrorist organization in the United Nationsâ⬠¦we should talk to Hamas because once the Israeli-Palestinian issue is resolved, the threat of terrorism will diminishâ⬠(Greenfield, 2013). If your own Counter Terrorism Chief canââ¬â¢t see what the rest of the world can see then, why would anyone want to put their faith in the United Nations? Economically for the United Nations to have a chance at surviving they need to ensure that they are fighting the causes from within and all singing from the same song sheet, having internal squabbles and disagreements bring resentment from within and this isnââ¬â¢t an acceptable way to run an organization, they also need to have stronger and more manageable international policies, a focus should be made on improving the recovery of failing member states, and boosting economic trade agreements, thus alleviating the financial stresses on the smaller member states by improving their financial stability. The United Nations advisory capacity has no real effect on national policies as they cannot enforce rules and regulations, suggestions and recommendations can be put forward but they donââ¬â¢t have to be abided by. For the United Nations to be taken seriously they must work together with governments and create a stable and workable multilateral system, and the government must become accountable for their decisions in the international and domestic fields. If the United Nations can overcome their social and economic issues then they will find that their peace keeping efforts will become easier to manage as they wonââ¬â¢t have the dilemma of sovereignty versus human security, if the United Nations cannot be granted permission to intervene by the member state that needs assistance then the dilemma of sovereignty comes into play, because despite human security being a high priority the United Nations are still powerless to intervene. European Union The European Union partakes in a wide range of policies, be it economic, social, regulatory or financial, they take action when its actions are beneficial to its member states. The formation of the European Union has shifted the balance of political power in favor of their European states, they have unified the value of money and Euro is now the second mostly commonly held currency with the dollar being the most. The creation of a single free market has pushed the quality of products up and the overall costs down and travel between European counties is at an all-time high due to the availability of cheap air travel. The European Union were hit with their biggest economic threat so far, in 2011 the Greek debt crisis spiraled out of control; it was triggered by the 2008 economic recession and was directly linked to the collapse of the Greek economy. Greece required be bailed out from this situation and turned to the European Union for assistance. However rising debts from Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain made people think that the EUââ¬â¢s economic model may not be working and that bailing out these countries may not be in the best interests of the European Union, people questioned why the EU was continuing to bail out countries that constantly spent their money recklessly and increased their own debts to unsustainable levels. There should never again be war in Europe (Malmstrà ¶m, 2008). The EU has forged greater co-operation and better communication from all EU members and has brought peace and prosperity to its members, most are no longer living in a war torn world. The EU security policy has broadened over the years and security policy today incorporates everything from traditional military power to vigorous climate change and environmental efforts. Over all despite the economic crisis that the EU suffered, they seem to be having a positive effect on national politics, granted not all governments agree on how things should be done but the EU has a diplomatic approach to resolving any disagreements. It is a progressive organization and like most has had teething trouble, some of their own making and some not. I think a review of some of their strategies and polices may further strengthen their standing in the political field. North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATOââ¬â¢s role in world politics is dominated by their quest to prevent conflict, using democratic values, they push for greater communication and cooperation from member states to enable a sustained growth in resolving defense and security related issues. NATOââ¬â¢s influence in security issues is now on the decline, peacekeeping has been made easier by the many alliances that have now been forged. The war in Afghanistan has raged on for too long with little impact from NATO, they have been unable to defeat the Taliban, and when they pull out from Afghanistan, the Taliban will retake the areas that have been secured by NATO, undermining their whole effort. NATO is far from economically sound, if they were to forge better economic relations better and more secure transatlantic relationships between Europe and the United states, it would strengthen the global economic climate for all involved. A more economic NATO would enable better relations and aid NATO in securing better allies with Asia Pacific, whom are crucial to the world economy. NATO needs to expand their organization globally, as a regional organization they appear ineffective, If NATO can foster better relations in the Middle East it will not only boost them economically but also politically and will enhance their security efforts to a more global field. NATO need to be more economically viable to ensure they have the full support and backing of its members, they are losing peopleââ¬â¢s confidence as they seem ineffective in Afghanistan, they may have succeeded in other wars but this war is still raging and the people want to see an end, if there is no end then NATO will be seen as a failure. The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Companies (OPEC) The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Companies (OPEC) plays a major role in the influence of world politics, they have the ability to control the production of oil and how the prices can fluctuate. OPEC must use its political diplomacy to maximize its revenue, alienating a country based on political differences can mean the difference between oil prices rising and slower and less economic sales. OPEC has had issues in the past with supply and demand, and this is destabilizing them as an organization, people are losing faith in them and seeking alternative options. The countries that participate in OPEC have complete sovereignty over there natural resources and policies and OPEC needs to work with the participating countries to safeguard the interests of the social and economic developments of prices. Whilst most of OPECââ¬â¢s commodities come from developing countries there is an issue with those countries being able to consistently supply oil and petroleum, OPEC must attract buyers and these buyers will be concerned as to the overall safety of the products due to issues like war and political battles. In 1973 an oil embargo was put in place and lasted until 1974, this had a massive economic impact on OPEC, they forced companies to increase payment for oil and this pushed the price of oil up to $12 a barrel, this impacted negatively on the United States and forced them to readdress the economic threat posed to the U.S. energies security. OPEC needs to develop better legal and regulatory policies so that countries can continue to develop and work on improving their efficiency and affectability whilst reducing overall costs. They need to look long term at the risk analysis of developing countries, and ensure future projects are more economically and socially profitable. If OPEC can address jurisdictional border policies then this will enable then to have more conclusive trade market opportunities. Without this they are vulnerable. Organization of American States (OAS) The Organization of American States (OAS) role in world politics is very turbulent whilst they promote initiatives and oversee human rights and security in the Americas, they have shown weakness for political power and their decision making has been questioned, they require a unanimous vote to make any decisions and this voting method leads to many hold up and deliberations that are deemed unnecessary and delay any action that can be taken. This prompts distrust and allows its member to question their affectability in world politics. OASââ¬â¢s ability to manage security and sovereignty issues was tested in 2009 when Honduras had a leadership crisis; OAS was forced to suspend Honduras from the organization after an issued ultimatum to reinstate exiled president Zelaya was dismissed by Zelayas opponents. OAS sent monitors to Honduras to oversee the constitutional referendum, this was done at Zelayas request and the referendum was seen as unconstitutional by congress, OAS systematically failed in their attempts to resolve the Honduras situation and proved that they are very limited to what they can actually do in a crisis management situation. The economic outlook for OAS is very poor; In 2011 Republican David Rivera was quoted as saying The [Organization of American States] is an enemy of the U.S. and an enemy to the interests of freedom and security, (Isacson, 2012)as he joined a majority vote to sever U.S funding of OAS. OAS has failed to prove conclusively its affectability in situations it has been faced with, it is held back by governmental policy constraints and without major changes could cease to function as an effective organization. Whilst OAS is effective in certain areas they have proved on numerous occasions to be ineffective in security, sovereignty and economic issues, they were threatened with having their funding removed, congress has ruled that some of the decisions they have made have been unconstitutional, and this has had a wide ranging effect on future political issue, as it has alienated some of the countries that are members of OAS. To prove effective OAS needs to show that they have full solidarity within member countries, so far they have failed to do this. Conclusion International organizations have a hard job of juggling what is expected of them versus what they can legally do, people want interventions from these organizations but donââ¬â¢t fully understand some of the constrains that hold them back. Most organizations donââ¬â¢t have the legal authority to enforce rules and regulations, they can make recommendations but if they arenââ¬â¢t followed there is no way of enforcing there disregard of the recommendations. Governments can remove financial backing from the countries that donââ¬â¢t follow the recommendations, this serves as a warning to other countries that failure to comply will result in further sanctions being imposed. International organizations have a varied impact on the world; the organizations need to have better multilateral government backing, because despite the entirely positive things they try to achieve there is always a negative aspect that is stopping them from fully achieving this. Community Health Nursing Essay
Optional: As the school nurse role evolves, there are increasingly more health concerns for the school nurse. Does the locale make a difference in the problems, or are health problems in children and adolescents universal? In some inner-city areas, violence is a prevalent issue. What do you think are the biggest problems in your areas? The role of the school nurse has definitely evolved since I was in school. I remember the school nurse in elementary school was very kind in her starched white uniform and when you went to the ââ¬Å"clinicâ⬠you were told to lay down on a cot and put a cool washcloth on your forehead. According to Nies & McEwan, many of todayââ¬â¢s health challenges are different from those of the past and include behaviors and risks linked to the leading causes of death such as heart disease, injuries, and cancer (p. 580). There is an increase among young people to participate in unhealthy behavior such as smoking, drinking, drugs, and poor nutrition, decrease physical activity, increase sexual behavior, violence, suicide, that will put them at a risk for health problems (Nies & McEwan, 2015) In 2013, the population of Chesapeake, Virginia is 230,571 (United Stated Census Bureau) Chesapeake Public School Nurses in 2011-2012 treated 681,526 students in their clinic; treated 117,058 ill stude nts; treated 98,041 students that needed first aid and injured themselves; performed 62, 089 nursing procedures; counseled 175, 158 students and parents; and administered 128, 869 medications (Chesapeake Public Schools, 2012). WOW, that is a lot ofà patients! This weekââ¬â¢s lessons discusses the evolving role of the school nurse not only attending the studentsââ¬â¢ needs but involvement in ââ¬Å"policy-making activities at both the local and state levels (CCN, 2015) The question proposed in this weekââ¬â¢s lesson regarding some of the roles for the community health nurses is also applicable to the school nurse. The school nurse is the clinician, case manager, advocate, educator, researcher, administrator, change agent, case finder, coordinator and consultant in order to meet the complex needs of students. According to Nies & McEwen, many of todayââ¬â¢s health challenges are different from those of the past and include behaviors and risks linked to the leading causes of death such as heart disease, injuries, and cancer. In the suburb that I live in there has been no violence reported by students in the school system that my daughter is a fifth grade teacher. I think the locale of the school system can increase potential risk for violence. In the school system that my daughter is a teacher she says that they deal more with behavior problems and lack of parental involvement in the childââ¬â¢s progress. There are more students that are being treated with mental illness at such an early age. She had one child that was diagnoses as a bipolar. There have been several cases of child abuse that she has had to report. She feels a challenge to education system is holding children more accountable to meet requirements verses appeasing parents. Many parents are the first to say, no itââ¬â¢s not my child when in fact their child is the leader of the disruptive group. Since President Bush initiated ââ¬Å"no child left behindâ⬠program, I think this has caused challenges for the teacher to develop more creative styles of teaching without the support of administration and parents. I did not realize that the school nurse role included seven elements that they need to focus on that was listed in this weekââ¬â¢s discussion. I thought their primary role was clinical services that included first aid and screening. After reviewing the elements, I can see this as an interdisciplinary team approach that should include teachers, lunch room staff, parents and students to ensure that students receive a top notch school health program that will provide them the tools to have a healthy lifestyle. St. Louis, MO: Saunders/Elsevier. Chamberlain College of Nursing. (2015). NR443 Week 4: Community Health Roles, Settings, and Interventions.[online lesson]. Downers Grove, IL: DeVry Education Group Community school nurses have a very difficult job. School age children have such a variety of health concerns that can be congenital, environmental, behavioral, and socioeconomic. (Nies & McEwen, 2015) Where does a CHN start? Promoting wellness, health education, and identifying deficiencies within the schools, and creating programs to improve services is a great beginning. I do believe that most problems that we see in children and adolescents are universal. Inactivity, obesity, poor nutrition, and substance abuse are a few examples, but these problems can escalate even more when as a childââ¬â¢s socioeconomic condition worsens. When researching statistics I was shocked to find out that that 8.3% of teenagers in Broward County had engaged in sex before the age of 13, that is higher than the national average of 6.2%. (floridahealth.gov) To make things worse, Broward County also has the second highest rate of Infectious Syphilis in the state. HIV and Chlamydia are also on the rise compared to the rest of the United States. Sexually transmitted diseases in this demographic are increasing but teen pregnancy is on the decline. This I believe is a real problem, sex education must start in our homes with parents and transcend into our schools. According to our reading, sex education in our schools remains controversial. However, it seems like a necessity for our youth to have a nonjudgemental forum in which they can receive accurate information Wow, I was amazed at the statisctis for STDââ¬â¢s in Broward County and wanted to see how Chesapeake Virginia rated. Per 100,000 there was 588.3 per people diagnosed with Chlamydia and that is higher than the state of Virginina and nationally. Gonorrhea was 108.9 compared to national level of 107.5.

Importance of Streams of Consciousness in A Farewell To Arms
Importance of Streams of Consciousness in A Farewell To Arms Suddenly, it enters your thoughts and streams throughout your mind; you begin to think, you are in a stream of consciousness. You are in your own world of random words and sentences, amounting to nothing, and at times making all the sense in your world, a world that only exists within your mind. That is exactly how a stream of consciousness works, according to Charles Bohner and Dean Dougherty (1216). Ernest Hemingway himself traverses into three streams of consciousness of his own in order to develop Henrys character and the over all theme of A Farewell to Arms, war and love and all feelings in between. For instance, while Henry is not really required toâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦And so, having presented these few lines, Hemingway has allowed Henry to enter a stream of consciousness that unravels his most inner thoughts and views at the time of this tragic event. Henry has captured the reader and brought him into his immature, fearful mind. At the same time, the reader finds Passini in his own stream of consciousness as he slowly pleads with God, Jesus, and Mary to let him live or to take his life right there and then. He calls to his mother and the three mentioned above: Oh mama mia, mama Mia...Dio te salve, Maria, Dio te salve, Maria. Oh Jesus shoot me Christ shoot me mama mia mama Mia oh purest lovely Mary shoot me. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Oh Jesus lovely Mary stop it. Oh oh oh oh. (55) Passini, like Henry, seems to be talking to himself and is also in a state of delirium. He wants to live, but the pain is so great that he would rather die. With this technique, Hemingway, not only develops Henrys and Passinis characters, but also allows the reader to enter each characters mind in such a way as to almost become Henry and Passini, and experience the impact of the bomb explosion that triggers off this death-like stream of consciousness. Furthermore, while Henry thinks he is dying, he is really never sure when he would die, but he knew [he] would not be killed. Not in this war. It did not have anything to do with [him](37).
